  • That's how I see the world. A Poem by Lillie and Lottie

Fri 07 Jun 2024 Mrs Cecchini

We wanted to share this wonderful poem written by two of our Year 6 pupils.

'That's how I see the world.

    Fields, daisy a rose too

trees and leaves to fill your heart.

That's how I see the world.

    Equality between all,

    that's what matters most.

Equality and I will be free.

That's how I see the world.

    Kindness is key,

do what you would want to be done to you.

That's how I see the world.

    Dawn is coming now,

so I'll have to say goodbye,

    but until tomorrow,

that's how I see the world.'

    by Lottie and Lillie!

  • A top 1% primary school

Fri 19 Apr 2024 Mrs Cecchini

A very proud day for us all here at The Pastures.

Our wonderful school has been recognised as being in the top 1% of primary schools in the country for our children's achievements in reading, writing and mathematics. A huge well done to our fantastic children and staff who should all be extremely proud of their hard work and commitment.

  • Sporting Success for our Football Teams

Wed 24 Jan 2024 Miss Briers

A huge congratulations to both our boys and girls football teams who played in the locals finals for The Utilita EFL Kids Cup and the Premier League U11 National Girls Tournaments today at Seagrave.

Both teams were undefeated in the group stages and qualified for the semi finals having not conceded any goals! The boys went on to win 2-0 in their semi final before sadly losing 1-0 in the final against Whitwick.

The girls won 3-0 in their semi final before winning 3-0 in their final against Fleckney. They will now progress to the regional event in March.

All of the players made us proud with their attitudes, teamwork and skill. They had a great morning!
